For their Summer Bumper issue 114, Frankie Magazine needed a series of illustrations that visualised the horoscopes in a simple and playful way. This series of 12 x hand-drawn spot illustrations depict each of the horoscope personalities along with their attributes.
An Iconic Scene
In this feature for Frankie Magazine (issue 118), we delve into the art of illustrating an iconic scene from one of the classic films of the twenty-first century “Kill Bill.” Inspired by traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e styles, the illustrated scene focuses on the powerful and epic showdown between The Bride and O-Ren, and brings to life the film’s intense emotions of vengeance and empowerment.
